I rented my apartment through Evans with Elena’s help in September 2010. For this she behaved as a true adviser, very helpful in comparing advantages versus drawbacks. She did everything possible to resolve administrative issues and to obtain good conditions from the landlord, a two-year contract with no price fluctuations in my case. Since the first day she assisted for monthly rent payment, for solving problems with TV and Internet providers, and others like air conditioning system very recently. In any delicate situation an expatriate has to face, especially regarding language difficulty, she is always very friendly and humorous which is indeed highly reassuring!
In summary, I would like to emphasize that when I had to pay for Evans’ fee, I found it a bit expensive at the very beginning but now I don’t regret it at all regarding the “return help” I had from Elena.

When I started looking for an appartment I contacted EVERY agencies in a famous american daily newspaper published at moscow... The result came fast, not as fast as good appartment. When Evans asked me about my wishes concerning the flat I was looking for in Moscow, I summed up my needs in a few words: I wanted a furnished and quiet apartment, full of light, with a nice view and a good location. After sending me a list of available flats, Inga Zurabiani of Evans picked me up at my hotel, and in 2 hours we visited three apartments located in high buildings in the center of Moscow, with nice views on the White House, the Kremlin and Moscow’s skyline. Very quickly I understood that I could trust in Evans’ expertise: the flats exactly answered to my needs. The furniture was above what I had initially expected, and I was impressed by the air conditioning in every flat, as by the home cinema and the Jacuzzi in one of them. Finally, after considering it would be no use to ask to look for other apartments through another property company, I asked Evans to do what was necessary to complete the furniture (new microwave, one more table, more chairs…) in the most convenient of the flats. Very professionally, on a daily basis Inga emailed me about the improvements, and within a week everything was accomplished, which enabled me to concentrate on my work only and not on the usual problems raised by expatriation. Two days before signing it, Inga sent me a copy of the contract, and a few days after I moved in and could start enjoying the sunrise above the Moscva River. Thanks to Evans’ help, my installation in Moscow was fast and not problematic; I’ve already advised Evans to future expatriates in Moscow, and I’m sure I won’t regret it. Respectfully,

After a stressfull start searching for an apartment close into the city centre I was introduced to Evans, who inturn sent Marina Kuprianova to my aid. I have to say I am VERY impressed with your company! I just went trolling around the www.evans.ru site to begin to see if I could afford to rent a place when I come back from Aug-November - and it was such an easy to use search program! And so thorough! And then, when I saved a few places near Smolenskaya (I am trying to see if I can be near school 57 and also the road to Davydkova where my friends live) and registered, within seconds I got an email from a Client manager.

The thought of finding a suitable apartment in Moscow on a tight budget for me and the family was daunting especially after dealing with some of the other agency reps who couldn't understand our preference for a modern, clean, secure apartment near the office, rather than one with chandaliers in the hallway and jacuzzi's in every room. Derzeit befinde ich mich in mitten des Renovierungsprozess einer Immobilie die ich in Moskau aus Anlege Gründe gekauft habe. Die Leute mit denen ich zurzeit von Evans zusammenarbeite haben mich bei dem gesamten Ablauf, vom Kauf der Immobilie bis hin zur Renovierung und wiederverkauf voll unterstützt. Am Anfang des Projekts hatte ich mit dem schlimmste gerechnet; erhebliche Verspätungen und Budgetüberschreitung. Obwohl teile davon nicht zu verhindern sind bei solch einem Projekt, war Evans während des gesamten Ablaufs sehr aufmerksam und hatte das Geschehen unter Kontrolle. Aufgrund ihrer fachkundigen Beratung, Aufmerksamkeit bei den wichtigen Details, haben sie es am Ende sogar geschafft Geld zu sparen, meine Zeit und meine Nerven. Es sind die kleinen Sachen, wie z.B. Einsparungen bei den Notarkosten die am Ende einen unterschied machen. Jedoch war Evans auch sehr hilfreich wenn es darum ging komplexere Lösungen zu finden, wie z.B. Alternativvorschläge. Moving to a new country and finding a new apartment usually frigthen people. When I learned that I will move to Moscow with my husband, I also felt the same way. I was always asking to myself “will we be able to find an apartment that will meet our expectations? “ In addition to this, we were supposed to see all the alternatives in 4 days, to decide and to sign the contract in one day!! Fortunately none of our nightmares came true and everything went perfect :-) Now, we are living in a lovely apartment which Olga Perevoznikova from Evans has found for us. We told her what we want and what we don’t want.. She found all the appropriate alternatives and showed us. All the alternatives were framed due to our expectations and we did not waste time by visiting unsuitable apartments. Der Umzug zur “terra incognita”

Liebes Evans Team, ich wollte mich nochmals in aller Form bei euch für eure Unterstützung, die ihr meiner Familie und mir beim Umzug nach Moskau entgegengebracht habt. Das war für mich mein erster internationaler Umzug und daher auch mit einer Menge Unsicherheiten verbunden, wie z.B. neuer Beruf, neuer Boss, neues Team und der Umzug selbst. Als Tscheche und im Marketingbereich arbeitende Person, habe ich viel mit Agenturen zu tun und bin daher anfangs immer ein wenig skeptisch und vorsichtig beim zusammenkommen mit neuen Anbietern. Es viel mir anfangs sehr schwer die Arbeit von Evans einzuschätzen und die Beurteilung der Gegenden die sie mir empfohlen, da ich zur der Zeit komplett unvertraut mir der Stadt Moskau war. Jetzt, drei Monate nach meinem Umzug kann ich sagen, dass es die richtige Entscheidung war mich auf meinen Instinkt zu verlassen und Evans zu trauen. Wir sind sehr glücklich mit dem Apartment und der Gegend in der wir leben und können Evans ohne Zweifel an jeden Neuankömmling empfehlen.

After several years of renting an apartment in Moscow I decided to take the plunge and buy an apartment. I contacted Evans because I was impressed by the information provided on their website and they listed plenty of apartments in my price range. Aleksey Korolev was extremely helpful in explaining all aspects of the purchasing process as well as showing me possible apartments. The end result was that I bought an apartment which was 10% over my original budget but twice the size I thought I could afford. It is convenient for my work and public transport and I am very pleased with it. I would therefore be happy to recommend Aleksey and Evans to others.

I wanted to take a minute to call out the truly outstanding service I received from Marina Andreeva over the last week. When surfing the Evans website I was surprised to find Marina, whom I had lost contact with, but I was not surprised to find that she had been the leading broker for the last 2 years. When I met Marina in 1996 she left a strong impression as a hard-working and 'sympateechnaya' woman who did what it took to get the job done, and it was easy to imagine that, with 10 years experience, she would be one of the best at what she does. I wanted to highlight what really 'stood out' for me: · The pre-work was thorough - including a round of feedback on preliminary possibilities to enable Marina to re-connect with my preferences · The first day was jam-packed, viewing 12 locations and giving me an excellent perspective of the market 1st thing in the week · Marina had the 'gumption' (sorry for the tough word - but worth looking up!) to show an apartment that had already been reduced by -40% and yet was still +20% versus my budget... · Marina showed perfect integrity and honesty in telling me directly (in the middle of the week, when we were not sure if the negotiations would succeed) of having forgotten one follow-up on my 2nd choice apartment, reminding me that I was working with someone I could really trust · Marina was very skilled in the negotiations. Though the Landlord speaks very good English, and often spoke directly with me, we absolutely would NOT have had an agreement without Marina's guidance. · Marina was willing to work 2 nights past 2am. On the second night she said, cheerily, "We'll stay until 5am if needed, no problem." Fortunately 3:10 was enough. · One reason we worked so late was a need to create a fairly unique contract, and for Marina to be translating the English agreements into Russian. Marina apologized that she was not very skilled at translation, so I had my wife - a professional translator- check the work. In 12 pages of text my wife found just 3 or 4 'optional' improvements, but no mistakes, on work that was done at the end of 16 hour workdays... I wanted you to know that, despite being a relatively demanding person, I truly cannot think of anything more that I could have asked for in a real estate agent, and I am so glad that Marina has found a place where her talents and hard-work are able to make such a difference.

I would like to thanks Evans, and Natalia Koroleva in particular, with helping me to find an apartment that was suitable for the family, within budget, on the desired location and even within the short time I needed one. I gave to Marina via e-mail a description of the flat and things that were important to me in the flat and the vicinity. Marina had taken me to see only the flats that had suit My description. This gave me the possibility to rent a flat I wanted within a short amount of time. She also had supervised the process of getting the flat/furniture and other things to be ready to the day I had arrived to Moscow. As a result I had the possibility to move to the flat seamless.

When Evans asked me about my wishes concerning the flat I was looking for in Moscow, I summed up my needs in a few words: I wanted a furnished and quiet apartment, full of light, with a nice view and a good location. After sending me a list of available flats, Inga Zurabiani of Evans picked me up at my hotel, and in 2 hours we visited three apartments located in high buildings in the center of Moscow, with nice views on the White House, the Kremlin and Moscow’s skyline. Very quickly I understood that I could trust in Evans’ expertise: the flats exactly answered to my needs. The furniture was above what I had initially expected, and I was impressed by the air conditioning in every flat, as by the home cinema and the Jacuzzi in one of them. Finally, after considering it would be no use to ask to look for other apartments through another property company, I asked Evans to do what was necessary to complete the furniture (new microwave, one more table, more chairs…) in the most convenient of the flats. Very professionally, on a daily basis Inga emailed me about the improvements, and within a week everything was accomplished, which enabled me to concentrate on my work only and not on the usual problems raised by expatriation. Two days before signing it, Inga sent me a copy of the contract, and a few days after I moved in and could start enjoying the sunrise above the Moscva River. In March of this year I bought a flat in Moscow through Svetlana of the Evans Real Estate Company, Moscow. Svetlana is a pleasure to work with. I actually had switched to Evans from a competitor with whom I must have looked at about 12 different apartments and not one of them was even remotely acceptable - most of them were actually totally out of the scope that I had set for the company.
