October 2-9 team of the EVANS company - one of the leaders in luxury real estate market - took part in the eighth Volvo Russian Sailing Week.

Regatta started in the Bay of Marmaris in Turkey. In the course of a week 29 boats had 6 exciting races along the Turkey coast. Sea route was designed so that each evening fleet of the regatta came to a new beautiful place where sailors could enjoy local sights, visit restaurants with their friends, relax, swim and sunbathe.

EVANS crew consisted of 8 people: 6 leading brokers and company executives and 2 clients who teamed up for the race. Even though almost all team members were new to sailing, we all had great fun.

According to the EVANS crew members, sailing in many ways is similar to business management. Like business, yachting requires a lot of mental work: the right strategy, quick reaction, fine calculation, high-class team, the ability to bypass an opponent. All these qualities helped the EVANS sailors to overcome challenges of the Volvo Russian Sailing Week and finish the regatta on the highest level.
